Graphic Facilitation Gallery
I use a variety of tools in my facilitation work. I like the classic, time tested tools of paper, pens, chalk pastels with a sprinkling of the late 20th century technology: the “post it” note! I get that sparkly look in my eyes having discovered the power of graphic facilitation using digital media. The slideshow below shows samples of both styles. Out of respect for my clients’ confidentiality, I only share images that I have permission to share.
Eight feet long by four feet wide paper offers groups a panoramic display throughout their meeting. Big is good! Seeing big helps us think big! There is something comforting about these classic tools; they are tangible, touchable, familiar. Meeting participants also have the option of becoming physically engaged in capturing notes through their own visual representations.
Graphic Facilitation Using Digital Media (Sketch Book Pro)
I use a digital media platform to capture visual notes . It works well when I capture the essence of a coaching session with a client and can send them a graphic over email within 30 minutes of our coaching call. My client can refer to the image as a reminder of what he or she took away from the session and wants to integrate into next steps.
